RPW 305 is a student-centered, integrated skill-based course which provides complex strategies for and comprehensive practice on advanced academic language skills, as well as critical thinking, research, and study skills. To help students improve their competency and confidence needed for mastering various tasks in academic environments, ENG 305 provides advanced level academic language instruction and makes extensive use of text analysis and documented essay writing. The course materials to be covered during the semester include tasks for applying research methods, referencing rules, as well as inductive and deductive reasoning abilities.
